People's cotton prices rise steadily

Since May, the market price of viscose staple fiber has been steadily increasing, and the focus of market transactions has gradually increased. The major manufacturers stopped and overhauled, and the sales of downstream cotton fabrics gradually eased. This has given some boost to market confidence. The viscose mills mainly implemented pre-contracts signed in mid-to-late April. In the market, new orders were traded on a small basis, and the high turnover was weak. Sales tasks for this month have been basically completed, and prices will remain stable. On May 9th, the price of viscose staple fiber was at RMB 12,150/ton (down from RMB 3,322/ton for domestic 3128B-grade cotton spot prices on that day, and the spread continued to shrink), and the price was the same as last weekend.

At present, the mid-market quotation is 12400-12500 yuan/ton (up 200-300 yuan from the end of April), the focus of mainstream negotiations is maintained at 11900-12,000 yuan/ton, the turnover above 12,000 yuan/ton is weak, and some of the lower transactions are at 11700- 11,800 yuan/ton. The high-end offer is at 12,600 yuan/ton (up from 100-300 yuan at the end of April) and is negotiated at 12,200-12,300 yuan/ton.

The raw material market is weak. The short cashmere market is stable and weak, and short cashmere prices in Shandong are now at 2,800 yuan/ton. The market price of cotton pulp was weak and the downstream stocking sentiment was not high, and the market transactions were dull. The intention to purchase more than 6300 yuan / ton position. The domestically-made dissolving pulp market has frequent visits to customers in the near future. Some of the higher prices are quoted at 6,450 yuan/ton, while the provinces are short-distancely delivered at 6,400 yuan. The prices of downstream viscose mills are generally lower. Imported dissolving pulp manufacturers are affected by the recent trend of viscose staple fiber, and local quotations are intended to increase upwards.

Downstream people's cotton products prices are basically in the stable stage of finishing, in which the price of cotton yarns is slightly weaker, and the amount of people's cotton fabrics increases steadily.

The market price of cotton yarn was steady and weak. People's cotton yarn market is more popular in the 10s and 13s, and the price trend is temporarily stable. Shaoxing Siro spinning 30S up and down in 18,000 yuan, tight competition 40S at 20,500 yuan. Some small and medium-sized mills have plans for a May Day holiday, ranging from 3-7 days. Fujian Siro spinning people's cotton yarn shipped steadily, and part of the offer price was up to 100 yuan. Siro spinning 40S reported in 19300-19400 yuan in cash.

After the “May 1st” holiday, the sale of staple cotton fabrics continued to go smoothly, the price of grey fabrics was basically stable, and the price of cotton fabrics for finished products was basically stable. The sale of fabrics for the mouthpieces was still booming, with the active sales of the women's skirts, short-fitting and casual shirts for the production of summer cotton. The sales volume of creative fabrics has obviously increased. Sand spot dyeing and dyeing human cotton is less on the market, and most of the samples are absorbed by hanging samples. The market trend of Polyester and Agglomeration fabrics is the price of "price rises". Since the end of April of this year, the daily sales volume of people's cotton cloth has increased day by day. In addition to the purchase of domestic demand merchants, there has been a new follow-up to foreign merchants' entry into the market, and spot purchases and orders have been transmitted locally to be more active. With the daily growth of domestic demand for foreign trade, the overall market transaction will still have a slight increase.
