Import tariffs on footwear and textiles imported from Ecuador will be reduced

The China Leather Industry Association recently reported that the Ecuadorian government has announced a significant reduction in import duties on footwear and textile products, effective from late May this year. Previously, importing footwear into Ecuador came with a 30% tariff, along with additional quota fees of $10 per pair of shoes and $12 per kilogram for textile products.
